You know, it sucks how in here pretty much everything that's older than PS2 is ridiculously hard to get. Unless it's a sports game. Or a cartoon/movie tie-in. Everyone is selling those. Sadly, and this regarding the tie-ins, nobody is selling the ones that are actually good. So to say, if you own a NES game here, it's worth a bunch of money.

Pschhhh, I've got my promotional Mewtwo card I got for the 1st Pokémon film. If I remember rightly, it wasn't actually that good.
I own a full copy of Tales of Symphonia (case, both discs, + manual) which can be a decent price.
Come on guys, someone here must have some cool rare stuff, I can't be the only person who has a few £50 games.

Well, the stuff I first posted go for $25-100.

Either way, some things might not cost much but they could still be rare.
I use to own this a PSX "DVR" system that i purchase while i was taking a stroll along in the flea market.

But i sold it a long time ago for a REALLY cheap price.

I would later find out it's story and how much it goes nowadays and I've been screaming at the gods ever since.

What the devil is a PSX DVR system ?

(Yes I could Google it, but I'd rather hear Berry's Berry good explanation)

Well as it turns out,it is a system that Sony release that is able to play both PS1 and PS2 games.Another ability the system has is that it is a DVD player and is able to record videos. It can also be connected to the PSP.

It was release on 2002(or 2003 ,can't seem to remember) but only on japan. It was a "commercial" failure as many analyst put it.

Update:forgot to mention that it had online functions but back then we didn't even knew what the internet was.

That sounds rather handy - shame it didn't take off

Daily reminder that both of those games can be bought for under £50 second hand.
I have a copy of Final Fantasy 3 for Snes (Final Fantasy 6....Stupid japanese, not taking time to relabel cartridges), Harvest Moon 64, which was worth $65 dollars used when I walked into Game Factor. XD I still have the original gold cartridge to the Legend of Zelda: OOT. I have the original Little Big Planet PS3 disk with the song that was suppose to be stripped from the game due to religious and legal issues. Megaman Legends 2, though I don't know IF I would call it rare, I have the disk and it still works like no tomorrow. Grandia 2 &3... Again, I don't know if they are rare, however they were INCREDIBLY HARD to find.

As for my brother, he has a game that is suppose to be destroyed. 'Too Human.'

.... heh, heh; Did you know this? The creators who created Too Human were in over their head in a legal issue with the game that the judge ordered them to destroy EVERY COPY of Too Human and then ordered every shop from game stop to wal-mart to destroy their copies as well. My brother has one of the surviving game disks from their onslaught. You can still find the game on Amazon; that much Ill admit. But gamestop, best buy and walmart? Forget it!

Yard sale. $1. I own around 20 Sega Genesis games and a working Genesis.

I also own the Donkey Kong 64 controller, another yard sale find.

Edit: And, I just did a quick ebay search and found out those DK64 controllers go for a good bit of change, around 80 bucks. If mine only wasn't held together by duct tape...
Is Empire Earth 1 rare?
The gaming crap I have aren't so much as rare, but the condition that they are in which makes 'em rare.

Most of them I've put away in the loft (due to a small room) and some of the handhelds like the Zelda handhelds can be seen in that gaming merchandise thread(though I'm too lazy to search for that). Consoles take up too much space. Once I get a bigger place then it'll all be in an awesome gaming room. Plus Gamecube games in general are rare so if you have 'em, keep 'em!

Pearl Gamcube
Pokemon N64 boxed

Handhelds:

I'm missing a few but meh. Too lazy now. But that's the majority....

There's some other stuff like signed games (Ono signed my SF4 case on Xbox and 3DS in the 2nd pic).

I managed to get Xenoblade Chronicles fro Blockbuster brand new for £13. Well worth checking out any rare games there while they're giving away all their stock for a low price!
Also, Shopto.net have Tales of Vesperia in stock
http://www.shopto.net/xbox360/XB2TA01-tales-of-vesperia
A valuable Xbox game which goes for a lot of money used (CEX sell them used for around £40). But this is brand new so....dat seal!

I usually buy games twice. One to play and another factory sealed to go up in value(like Skyward Sword or DMC HD collection). Same when Wind Waker HD comes out, I'll get two copies. Wind Waker factory sealed is around £500
I think I got nothing valuable with me Confused

I thought that Ratchet And Clank on the PS2 could be rare, but they made an HD collection on the PS3... Oh, wait, I do have Pokemon Snap though... but you can buy it on the nintendo store for a few bucks...

sigh...
