Who is your favorite game dev studio (or person *cough* Notch)? Can be past or present. I'm going with Rare back in their hay day before the dark days of microsoft.

Yes, definitely Rare back in the day. Uh, I'll go with present-ish CyberConnect2.

Rare by far (and I mean before they got purchased by Microsoft and started producing crap) it seems whenever they made a game it was awesome no matter what, *sighs* those were the days.

Is it shallow of me to say that I like Bethesda? But not for Elder Scrolls actually, for Fallout 3... I loved Fallout 3

Rockstar, probably. They are consistently quality.

Bethesda as well, if for nothing other than their ambition with their games.

I agree, but New Vegas would have been so much better if I hadn't had the displeasure of worrying about saving every 30 minutes.

That would be Valve. Those guys come up with the best games evaaaar! I am still waiting for that damn episode 3...

Or that quests would be bugged and you can never finish them. Or the inability to fire the Euclid C-Finder.

Rare from the past and Level 5 from the not-as-far-back-past.

I really can't choose one, making me choose only one is just mean. But my favorites by far are Sucker Punch, Insomniac, Gamefreak, and Fifth Cell.
Also Mojang, almost forgot.

Masahiro Sakurai

When it comes to Newell I just really like hit view on the video game industry, where it's going and what it's doing wrong. Everything he says is very interesting and true at some point.

Miyamoto and Sakurai are people I look up to due to their mindset when creating games. It's amazing just reading bout what they went for when creating such simple games as Super Mario or Kirby.
