Well here you guys go, I have been looking very closely at this since they mentioned it. I was never ballsy enough to play FFXIV because I listened to the rumors. Now, regardless if they were true or not, SE is remaking their MMO and it is going to be released for PC AND PS3.

I already signed up because I still find Final Fantasy to be good games.

It was true. FF14 is pretty crap. I'll sign up to this for PS3.

The cool thing is that both copies (PC and PS3) will share the same servers, I have no idea how good/bad that can be because if ARR will have as much customization as WoW or other games then the PS3 version might have trouble keeping up in raids and other such aspects because we will not be able to use as many hotkeys as PC users are.
