First off, Fred was never funny. I was trying to think of a comparison and that was the only thing I had in mind. It is annoying how people like Smosh and Fred get TV shows because of their views.

Also, I was stating how I was disappointed to see someone like Toby have all of his work taken over by his gaming. I actually did use to watch Toby and subbed him, but after awhile I noticed he wasn't uploading on Tobuscus anymore, probably because he's getting paid to constantly play video games and this causes him to be a rep at E3. That video does prove a point

I feel like this thread became a bash/flame zone and I normally don't contribute to these, which I probably shouldn't have, so I'm just going to leave it as it is. I didn't want to bash on Toby, I just wanted to point out what he did was wrong

Toby doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. I've seen videos of fake people doing what they do just for... whatever reasons. One series I used to love was Rage Quit on Achievement Hunter, because at the time, most of them were legit rages (think: Call of Duty on veteran difficulty). Yet some of them were forced. Now any time I try to watch them, it makes me rage on how forced he is.

Then there are people like iJustine who are doing the gaming videos simply for the money. Seriously, if you ever watched her play Portal 2 (and if you have, you know exactly what I'm talking about), she's so stupid. The puzzle she was stuck on wasn't even a puzzle at all. All she had to do was make a portal on a wall and walk through. Yet, that very simple step took her like 7 minutes to figure out.

No and you're completely dismissing my point and shrugging it off as "haters". I have better things to do than pointlessly hate on someone like RayWilliamJohnson or something like MLP. Why do I talk about scumbags like TobyTurner? Because I've seen it for myself, I've watched his videos, seen his content and the way his videos "work". I'm not talking out of pointless random hate. There is a huge difference between TobyTurner and DSP/JonTron. You even stated it yourself that he didn't start out making game related videos and jumped on the bandwagon. I don't understand how you can see the obvious truth with iJustine yet not TobyTurner. His videos ARE scripted dude.

TheRealJDawgz also brought up another YouTuber that I forgot, The Annoying Orange and they started a gaming channel. You seem to take offence to the obvious BS that everyone else does but NOT TobyTurner. He knows NOTHING about video games and is cashing-in. I've said this so many times now but you don't want to accept the obvious truth.
It's a fact!
I have another overall-arching question to ask:
Why do you think Machinima NEVER partnered TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP?
Why do you think TGS NEVER partner TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP?
Why do you think Zoomingames NEVER partner TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP?
Because they don't want those fakes on their channel. Those ACTUAL gaming companies do not want people who are in init for the money to be ruining what gamers had done. They KNOW that those guys are fake which is why they aren't partnered with them. But, explains why they are partnered with YouTube directly because it's get the website hits. There is a (fact) reason why you won't see them on those channels

Why are TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP NEVER featured on Podcasts with TGS?
Why do people like DSP/TB/Egoraptor poke fun at TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP?
Why don't they ever have TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP on GameGrumps?
Why are don't TobyTurner/iJustine/Smosh/PDP ever get their own gaming flash collaboration with other gamers?
Because THOSE ACTUAL GAMERS do not like those types of people. They clearly aren't on the same level and are frauds. Ruining what gamers had started and YouTube and jumping on the bandwagon when gaming could start earning you money. It's an insult to companies like Machinima or YouTubers like DSP that those people get their uneeded attention.

You have ask yourself those questions and realise what a douchebag TobyTurner really is. This isn't blind hatred because even I consider Egoraptor to be a douche when it comes to talking about modern games. I don't fully support them but there's far more respect to be given as an actual gamer who does it for a hobby, not because it's the latest trend dude.
If I truly had nothing well-researched to say then I would've said:
"No, you are gay and so is TobyTuner" I don't spend paragraphs explaining why those people a-holes with points and reasoning.

Don't forget to make your video super edited, ask to rate, comment and subscribe for more videos. Also don't forget that I need to add a picture of myself pulling a stupid face in the corner with part of the game being seen or a character.

I just want to point out, PDP was originally partnered (Or at least featured) with Machinima Respawn for his Black Ops commentaries and his Amnesia playthrough.

@Cody: Okay, so, I get your point and all but... why Pewdiepie? I mean, he hasn't even done anything else other than video game commentary before he started, not to mention that he started ages before the likes of Smosh, for example.

I haven't seen any of Toby's videos, so I took the time to watch some of his Halo 4 playthrough. He at least turned on subtitles and lower his voice during cutscenes, but couldn't figure out some basic controls at first (which is odd because I also see he did a Halo Reach playthrough).

From what I watched, I learned that Toby is good with voices, but I didn't really learn anything new about Halo 4.

Well Gamegrumps is solely JonTron and Egoraptor (Unless I missed a video where they mentioned the possibility of having a 3rd person pop up from time to time.

So, I've totally been getting into CaptainSparklez as of late. I'm watching his Modded Survival in Minecraft and I love it. The DivineRPG and the Tale of Kingdoms mods look really cool and I wish I had a computer capable of running minecraft perfectly smooth. I would totally have those 2 mods in mine.

Well, I've been mostly watching people from the Mindcrack server play minecraft, such as Etho, Generikb, BdoubleO100, Vintagebeef and Guude.

But the FUNNIEST let's plays I have seen are made by Cr1TiKaL. Just to show you some examples, I'v taken my 2 favorite videos of his let's plays :P

Also, I HAVE thought of making... some sort of... semi-"Let's Play" and tutorial series about minecraft though... I've seen a lot of videos, but there's stuff I built that nobody did yet, so I wanna show them to the YouTube world >_>

I just saw a certain feller by the name of xRazorFistx do a retro review of Super Mario RPG, and I honestly haven't enjoyed a retro review that much since I first watched Dinocity, you guys should really check him out.

Clearly, the best Youtuber in general and/or gamer is

the one and only
Toby Turner!

With his great videos of laughing at himself fail in any game from Happy wheels to random computer games, there's no possible way not to love him, I mean, who doesn't like to watch a person who knows nothing about games try to represent another part of youtube!?
I'm kidding okay

Now honestly, I really usually find no intrest in any LPers, it's not that they're bad, it's just well, not my intrest.

However, I do really enjoy Top 10's and other random things about gaming's history and stuff.

There are some people I enjoy out there.

GameGrumps can be okay at times.
JonTron ain't bad.
PBG is pretty good.
cjszero01 can be enjoyable.
And of course this channel, I mean the only complaint I have with this is the lack of consistency, but really that's not they're fault, I mean, there's not that many things out there not-well-known things about games, or easter eggs.

Anyway, that a short list of a long bunch. I could name many more but I'll just assume you've heard of most of them.

If you want to see someone do an LP check out Chuggaconroy, check out his Paper Mario TYOD LP or Pokemon Crystal or even his Mother 3 LP.
