Since a new episode will be on about 40 minutes from now to me, I wanted to see who else likes the show as much as I do. For a show this good, i'm surprised it stayed under my radar for so long.
What are your thoughts on this new season? Is it much darker than the others?
Also how did you like previous seasons?
You should definitely put spoilers in the topic title so people can avoid it. Actually, I'm going to notify both Nuudoru and Bumblebeecody about it so they can fix it. THEN I will talk about it.
Ok, since I that's fixed I can properly talk about the show. I'll put spoiler tags around the most recent episode that aired, and that's about it. The topic title is edited for a reason, so we can just openly talk about the show.
As it seems, this season is dark. And it's more focused on Walt and Skylar as it seems. I love it. I mean, I absolutely love it. Skylar was creeping me out tonight.
Her just walking into the pool like that. Which, conveniently looked like Walt's blue meth (did anyone actually notice it? I mean, the color itself). Then her saying that she's just waiting for Walt's cancer to come back. So, the whole flash-forward in the season premiere is starting to become more clear.
If she doesn't win an award for her acting for this season, something is wrong. Because it is absolutely brilliant. The show is brilliant. And I freaking LOVE it to death.
I've heard of the show and a lot of people have said it's really good. I've never gotten around to watching any of the episodes though, I'm not much of a TV person anymore.
Not going to read the thread but I'm about halfway through season 3. Only started watching it last week. +1 for Mr.Katana for getting me into it. When I catch up I'll join in.

Appreciate it!

Yeah, its interesting how much darker it is when its specifically focused on them. Both of them scared me a little last episode.
From Skylar and her suicidal/self-inflicting pain ways to Walter's ''WHATCHA GOIN' TO DO SKYLAR?!'', it makes you think how it will end/resolve now.
Who would you side with this episode? Skylar or Walter?
Well, in a way, I still hate Skylar. I mean, she's a fantastic character and definitely well written, but her actions just annoy me.
I think I'm going to side with Walt. Because I know that if Skylar is ever a problem for Walt, he can just "take care" of her.
I can't wait for the next episode. Man, when this half ends, I'm going to probably die waiting for the other half to air next year. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE THIS MEAN TO US?!?!?!?
I'll be watching it in 25 minutes! Anticipation is at maximum.
I missed the preview for next week (well, I always do it because I love being surprised by what happens). But man, that ending of the episode. I was saying "What an idiot." so many times.
Oh my god. I didn't expect that to happen at the end at all. For a second I was expecting that to be a younger Jesse at the beginning, but guess not.
Remember when Hank asked Walter Jr./Flynn to watch Heat? I read a comment that said that he looked up the plot synopsis of that movie and it said, ''About professional bank robbers that feel the heat when they leave an unexpecting clue for the police.'' Could predict the next episode. Just thought it was interesting.
best show of all time, i've spent the past month watching it from the beginning for the first time and it's amazing. this season so far, though.. starting to finally accept gilligan's idea that by the end of the series we're all supposed to hate walt. any time he's with skyler is just fucking creepy and i don't like this sudden air of arrogance that he's taken on - as if killing gus means that he now feels invincible.
I love Walt though. Simply because of how crazy he is.

Its amazing to see his change of personality from season 1 to now.
