The Phantom Pain, a game that was announced tonight at the VGA's, might actually be Metal Gear Solid 5.
Before we start. I'm going to link you to the world premiere trailer thing.
The game is being created by a studio called Moby Dick Studios. The CEO is Joakim Mogrem. If you switch a few letters around in the first name, it turns out to be Kojima. The weird thing about this, is apparently this is a real guy who comes from an american dev. Which I doubt.
When this was premiering, I was saying "This main guy totally looks like Solid Snake." and if you look at the image of him, it totally does.
@Retrnolinkx
I dunno either.
You can find the entire show here on Gametrailers and filter through it? Good luck on watching that though. I can't find anywhere that's uploaded all the stuff I wanna see like the trailers aside from Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider.
A metal gear version of "Ash in a coma" in which Solid Snake was force to do another mission but first they gotta turn him young .
Unfortunately ,shits get real when the "project youth" goes terribly wrong.
Thus having Snake live his few moments in a coma where he believes that things has gone wrong in the hospital(though he is right but can't do nothing about) and his mind has manipulated the situation to snakes twisted mind.
I'll just take a wild guess and say there's a lot of imagery used. Like the Fire Unicorn and the giant fire whale. Which seems to be suggest what the protagonist thinks he's seeing, it's really a Metal Gear....mouth
You know, I doubt Kojima would even make another MGS game. He pretty much said he wished he could do his own things, but Konami keeps making him do more MGS games, so he has to keep doing them. Plus, why would he go to all the trouble of making a fake name and a website for a fake dev team for something he doesn't like anymore? If anything, I say it's the Konami heads making this bullshit up because Kojima himself wants nothing to do with it, so they make this whole thing to make people think Kojima is on board.
Or maybe it's seriously just a new dev team making their own stealth game. Seriously, until we get more info, lighten up and stop trying to force some hidden meaning into things.

And that there really IS a person called Joakim Mogren. How odd would that be?

OK OK. So MAYBE there is a big coincidence in that, the dude has an anagram of Kojima, looks like Kojima with a blond hair style with a mustache and happens to be working on a game that looks very similar to Kojimas MGS. I dunno man.
OK, this may be asking a lot, but this is important to me.
What is the chronological order of the storyline of the MGS series? I need to know what games to play next.
Snake Eater (MGS3) (PS2/VITA/XBOX/PS3)
Portable Ops (MGPO (PSP))
Peace Walker (MGPW (PSP/XBOX/PS3))
Ground Zeroes
Metal Gear (MG (MSX/MGS3S))
Solid Snake (MG SS (MSX/MGS3S))
Metal Gear Solid (The Twin Snakes) (MGS/MGS:TTS (PS1/GC)
Sons of Liberty (MGS2 (PS2/VITA/XBOX/PS3)
Guns of the Patriots (MGS4 (PS3)
Revengeance (MGSR (XBOX, PS3)
Chronological order right there.
But for the best experience it's better to play it in release order, and only the Solid series, since the other two aren't that important to the storyline, as there are some links in Solid 1, but that's it.
So the best order to play it would be this below, unless you want to play the MSX versions.
MGS
MGS2
MGS3
MGSPW
MGS4
Also, never play 4 first, it'll literally ruin everything for you, since MGS4 was Kojima's way of trying to finish up the story.
