Meet Django and Otenko, these two are the stars of their own series, Boktai, made by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami. Never heard of them? I didn't etiher, well, i knew them ~kinda~. Django basically hunts vampires, and uses his weapon, the "Gun del Sol", to do so.
And if you know your spanish, you know that means Solar gun.

Why am i telling you all this?
Well, did you know that Boktai has a serious connection to Capcoms Megaman Battle Network series?

In Megaman Battle Network 4, Django can be seen in a funhouse ride, this is actually where you fight ShadeMan.EXE, a bat/vampire themed Net Navi.

(Go to 14:40 of this video.)

Heres where things get interesting, deep in the Undernet(Basically the Hell of the Internet), you can actually find Django and Otenko located next to a coffin. This coffin holds ShadeMan.EXE, trying to revive himself, yet Django is trying to destroy him, he asks Megaman to find the S. Sensor so they can activate the "Piledriver" and destroy Shademan.EXE for good.

Oh, and the Gun del sol exists as a chip in the game.

CONNECTION TO MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK 5

Things get more technical this time around, if you use the GBA link adapter and connect to a gameboy advance that has Boktai 2 in it while having Megaman Battle Network 5 in your gameboy advance, you can play a multiplayer mode where either both players can try to beat ShadeMan.EXE in their respective games or attack Megaman.

(Gameplay example of this mode.)

In the DS version of Megaman Battle network 5, if you slot Boktai 2, you can get the Sol Cross.

CONNECTION TO MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK 6

Now, Boktai sales were incredibly low in the US, so when the 3rd Boktai was made, it was Japan exclusive. Megaman Battle Network 6 originally had an extra area in the game where an interesting battle takes place.

Enter the Immortal area.

Ever been to the Navi Graveyard in Megaman battle network 6? Its there. Well, its there in the JAPANESE version of the game, and features a cameo by, you guessed it, Django! And an interesting boss...

This is HAKUSHAKU...ehem...or in Japan, he is know as "The Count of Groundsoaking Blood"...yep. He was in the Japanese version of the game, and was cut, beating him would give you a special Chip of himself.
