Well, I liked my other Mario thread, and the fact that something from there made it to the site made me feel really sexy. So, I decided to make a Zelda one! Let's go!

TINGLE THE FAIRY!
In The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, if you use the Tingle Turner when you're in the Tower of the Gods, a story can be found called "The Legend of the Fairy". This story has five parts to it and it talks about a fairy whom, long ago, appeared before the Hero of Time, helping him while he was “Lost in darkness by supplying him with maps". This legend is, actually about Tingle’s role in Majora’s Mask. It is said that on an island, somewhere in the Great Sea, they celebrate that one fairy's 35th birthday by wearing a green coat and red pants. They do this in hope of becoming like the fairy.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA FITZGERALD!
Zelda is named after the wife of Francis Scott Fitzgerald (author of The Great Gatsby), Zelda Fitzgerald. Miyamoto revealed he had a soft spot for that name and decided to use it for the title of the first game.

THE MUSLIM TEMPLE!
The early copies of Ocarina of Time had a bit of different music in the Fire Temple. The original music had a Muslim prayer in it that would repeat. The looped prayer was removed in later copies to avoid people being offended.

ORACLES OF SEASONS/AGES!
There was going to be a remake of the original NES Legend of Zelda for the GameBoy. Yoshiki Okamoto from Capcom told Miyamoto about the idea and the idea was approved. Okamoto's team messed around a bit during development, which made a whole new overworld, thus creating the Oracle games.

TINGLE'S OWN GAMES!
The famous Tingle has his own series of games in Japan. As much as many of us hate him here, he is a very loved character in Japan. His games involve: "Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland," which is about his origin, "Tingle's Balloon Fight DS," basically Balloon Fight for the DS...except with Tingle, "Ripening Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love," and "Too Much Tingle Pack" for DSiWare.

ZELDA GAMES WE WILL NEVER PLAY!
There are three more Zelda games that were made for Broadcast Satellite. Two of these are The Legend of Zelda: The Ancient Stone Tablets, which was a complete Zelda title broadcast for about four weeks in 1997, and The Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods, which was a different version of A Link to the Past broadcast especially for the system.

16-BIT LEGEND OF ZELDA!
There's a remake of the original Legend of Zelda title in Japan that was released for the Satellaview, an add-on peripheral for the SNES that hooked up to satellite TV (much like how the Sega Channel hooked up to cable). This remake had much better 16-bit graphics and sound.

NOT ALL NON-NINTENDO ZELDA GAMES SUCK!
You all know the Zelda CD-i horrific game. There are three other games that we all know and love that weren't made by Nintendo. Like the earlier fact in this post, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages were made by Capcom, but so was The Minish Cap!

OCARINA WASN'T THE ONLY INSTRUMENT!
The ocarina wasn't going to be the only important instrument in Ocarina of Time! In an interview, Miyamoto said, "In the beginning you used a reed pipe, but it was too much trouble so we eventually changed it to the ocarina."

So, yeah! That's all I got, and plus I really have to pee. So, I hope you guys like these!

actually you can emulate most of these games but the voices are not there because of how it saved the voices for the games.
