I do not own a 360, nor do I ever plan on buying one but I am always curious about the Kinect. I know there have been some good titles for the Kinect but overall the games are either not programmed correctly or the Kinect itself does not do it's job and register the player's movement. So do you have one and if so how do you like it?

Please do not go off topic about the Sony Move or anything else.
>He thinks the Kinect has good games.

lol

As a person who owns a 360 and games on it, the Kinect is one of the worst gimmicks I have ever seen to try and get sales, it is useless, never works half the time, and is just terribad, they lied about everything, and it never looked good to start with.

However, for anything that isn't game it's pretty damn good, it could be used for school, (voice recognition, moving slides and objects during a presentation) or to teach people hand movements in delicate procedures (Surgery).
It's a good thing you put "Xbox 360" in the title otherwise I would've been really confused.

Blague apart - Kinect should have been really good and made some really interactive games. Unfortunately, as Retrolinkx put it, it's shockingly terrible on most respects, but very useful for other uses. An accidental success ?

To be fair I am an optimistic person so I like to believe there are SOME good games but I have not heard of many.

Ah well.
As someone who also doesn't own an XBox 360, or plans on getting one anytime soon, I was also curious about how the Kinect really is. Although I have heard nothing but bad things about it.
Hi,
you could get up to 350 for all of them if they are in excellent condition the only ones im not sure about are the hd, headset, gta game and memory card. i would look on ebay for similar items to get a better baseline price on them.
Honestly, there are no good games for Kinect. You've got good concepts like Steel Battalion but Kinect is what ruins those games.
Kinect itself it's a huge pile of wank for Xbox 360. However, the technology inside incredible. Pretty damn impressive. The videos I've seen of people fully utilising Kinect outside of standard games is awesome.

I am the same.I usually give a console a chance before criticizing it and even though I don't even own that particular console or know barely anything about it (in this case, Kinect) I still wish the best for it.
I want a Kinect just for the G-mod hack using Kinect

Knowing how AMAZING the controls are for the Kinect, it might not be the best concept AT THE MOMENT.

When you give a console (in this case a gimmick peripheral) 2 years and it still fails, then it's cool to trample on it. Outside of Kinect though, is where you'll find the best use out of it. Awesome technology but Microsoft have no idea what they are doing with it.
I have to admit, I bought the Kinect to play Dance Central (second-hand I'm not made of money) 'cause I think it's hilarious, especially when you're like me an' can't tell your left from your right most of the time and just can't dance in the first place. Heh. Undecided

And also when you're drunk. Hilarity levels go through the roof then. Personally I've never had any problems with the Kinect. Positioning of the unit though is VITAL.

Yes but Mario Party and Guitar Hero drunk levels are ......explosive. Oh and Star Wars Kinect dancing.....so guuurd. Tongue
I have never, and will never play Guitar Hero. Fact. I have no patience for it, and terrible derp-ish fingers.
