I think the reason is because forums are seen as old to some people. They'd rather just have access to whatever they want through easy things like facebook or youtube. Actual forums with threads and posts, I think, bore those people. They see no reason to weed through the dozen or so threads they like and read through page after page. Maybe it's just me, but I actually hate the way youtube and facebook set up comments. I'd rather a forum style, as it makes things easier. The current way other sites make their comment section is rather annoying, as it's all one long list of comments, instead of collected and organized like a forum is. But hey, I've been going to forums since the late 90s, so maybe I've just gotten used to the forum style.
I wish the forum was more active but I'm not gonna complain about it because I myself don't post on that many threads or very often any more, (despite my daily multiple checkings of these forums) and I can't figure out a topic to post a new thread about that doesn't have a thread already, or is even worth of a thread in my opinion. Although since this forum does seem to be getting really quiet I will try to do my part in somewhat revitalizing it but I don't think it's dying yet, it's just still pretty new, (only just under 4 months old to be exact) it'll get more members.

@Ouberry: I agree with you man on your statement of people just wanting to stick to Facebook and YouTube, I was actually thinking that myself when the points were brought up that the videos and Facebook page get a lot of attention. Personally I like the forums' style of things because it's organized into discussions and just one big clusterf**k of posts in one spot.
I would just like to say that I apologize for not posting as much. There don't seem to many new threads (and don't expect me to make any, I'm terrible at making discussion topics) and I don't see much reason to post. I have been lurking around and checking everyday though.
I don't plan on leaving this forum anytime soon, you will have to take it from my cold, dead hands. I'd like to be one of the guys who is here in a few years who remembers the first days.
I once again apologize for lack of posting.
Don't really need to apologize for anything.

It's just, at night, this place seems more active than in the day. Which makes sense, people are working are at school. The night posting makes sense, because it's when everyone has the most free time.

But that's the thing. That's what's dying. I remember just last month, when I would wake up, it would take me a solid 20 minutes just to check up on what I missed from when I went to bed. Now, It takes like 5, if even that.
This place will pick up around Fall Break (which is what i am on) and again around Thanksgiving and also Christmas time because people will be off from work/school. No need to get panic-y over people not posting that often. If you were here around June/July then you would not be complaining one bit haha. We have lost a few members who made a ton of threads and posts and there are also some members who, as Retro pointed out, posted some DYKG facts that were either denied or not looked at instantly so they moved on. Those of us who are sticking it out through these slow times are true fans because we are still here and enjoy the threads that people post and yes even submit more DYKG facts.

So let's all put on a happy face and continue to give this forums our best.

Exactly. You've got the most active members on here in different timezones. Which makes conversations slow to develop.
I never noticed that I'm always active, but I never post.

Seriously, you'll see me on line all of the time, but I just lurk or do other things.
I am with Retro, I do not post as often as I should but I do lurk for any interesting topics that appeal to me otherwise I am either on Guild Wars 2 or Smite.

I like to get on this forum but I'm mostly busy managing a bunch of idiots at Barnes and Nobles.
I'm still here. I just don't post often because there's not much to post. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.
I used to post a lot more, but everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked...
Also school and work n sheet picked up.
