I'm kinda surprised nobody posted Mirai Nikki. It's not avalible in English, but it's worth the effort to read the subtitles.

i prefer anime with subtitles, except death note. i watched that in english and enjoyed it.

Am I the first one to say Evangelion♥? all time favorite by far! can't believe non of you said it :/ I also love Bokurano, and really like Lucky Star

Avatar and Korra are not Anime, simply influenced by anime. Both great shows though for the record.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Loved that show so much I ended up watching the entire thing within about 10 days.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is my all-time favorite, followed by Cowboy Bebop and FLCL.
