For the longest time gamers has thought that the Koopalings were Bowser's kids, but in a recent interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of games such as Super Mario Bros. 3 and Donkey Kong, explained that the Koopalings were not Bowser's kids, and that his only child was Bowser Jr. and that nobody knows who the mother is.
