In the game The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, you can see Remlits (Cats) around Skyloft. If you get close to a cliff, you will be able to throw them from the island. But, them will fly back with their ears.

Also, at the beginning of the game, you're told to fetch one of these, if you try to throw it off the edge you'll be told something bad. (I forget the exact phrase)
