Yu-Gi-Oh was one of the main games of my childhood. My friends and I used to spend days playing it, usually rotating houses where we would all sleep at.
I only had one original deck (Kaiba's, IIRC) and the rest was made of cheap fake cards that were selling at the time.
Console-wise, I stopped playing the World Championship for the handhelds just after that duel academy story. By that time, I was just full of playing cards.
Yeah I did, was pretty good at it too, I still have many of the cards in a small box, I'm not up to date with the current cards, Scychno summoning and all that isn't all that great.
I still play the video games though, since they're just as good and you can get challenging opponents, all the cards you will ever need and a sub par story to go with it.
I'm hoping for a 3DS Yu-Gi-Oh game though, that'd be cool.

Yu-gi-oh (and Pokemon) were my childhood.I used to have atleast 588 cards so I was like the "badass" of the school.I also had the full exodia set and all of the dragon cards.Besides that the anime was also pretty cool, but all of these things are pretty much dead.
...well atleast the Pokemon games are still awesome.
