Well Bethesda have revealed a new DLC in which you can build your house, adopt some kids, and bake things
.

What do you folk think of it - and more importantly, are you going to buy it ?

Here's something I saw this morning that sums it up pretty well

Not sure if Gusta.
Seems a bit out of place, violence and evil everywhere, go home and make some sweet rolls for your 7 kids. But I can definitely see some practical use. Too bad I don't have Skyrim...or money.
I like how people are saying it's like the sims.

When was the last time you played The Sims?
Yeah, it's not like the Sims at all. It's more like Fantasy Medieval Home Simulator 2012.
The Sims - Make house, acquire wife, acquire children, cook food.
Hearthfire - Make house, (acquire wife), acquire children, cook food.
lol

keep thinking that. It's pretty clear you've never played The Sims, then.

Ehh...no, just no. The last DLC for Skyrim (Dawn Guard) was fun but defiantly not worth the 20 bucks I would have paid for it if it weren't for bing rewards giving me free Microsoft points, (also no I don't use bing but I will take advantage of the rewards system then continue to use google. [Like a true free loader]) so I don't think I'll be getting this 'cause it looks pretty bad. (in other words It looks like they just added a bunch of things that I don't care about into the game, if I'm playin' Skyrim it's to be a badass adventurer, not to settle down build a house and raise a family.)
Thanks for reminding me about bing rewards, chris. I just redeemed a 100 MS point card from that so now I can afford Hearthfire. Big Grin
Haha no problem man. Also I just figured out what Hearthfire should be called, Retirement. Why? Because everything you're gonna do in this is what you'd be doing after you're done saving the world.
Hearthfire is actually a name of the month in Elder Scrolls. It's Hearth Fire.

Excellent point. I'm only gonna get this DLC if I finish every mission in the game and am forced into retirement Tongue
I don't know what's going on, but I liked the concept shown in the video of the Hearthfire shown over here. As far as the matter is concerned with its purchasing, then I think I should give it a try.
