X-2 but not X? That doesn't make any sense because the player will be so lost with what happens.
I (personally) don't think it really matters. After FF7 I stopped playing the FF series for the story. The writing is just terrible. XIII-2 I could follow and did enjoy. X's story in a nutshell...
My damn. One good thing about X was having the hardest boss battles in the entire FF series, Penance.
I only say play X-2 because the girls got HOT(!) and the games battle mechanics are far more refined and interesting to learn.
So he gets up to shenanigans with werewolves, before killing Voldemort who went into Dumbledore's grave to get some powerful-ass wand. Some time later, Dumbledore (who is somehow no longer dead) and Harry go to a cave to look for a horcrux. Little did they know that Voldemort was about to come back with his full power during the triwizards tournament. HOLYSHIT I'M A WIZARD !? Yes, now watch as your Godfather (needlessly) dies because soon the chamber of secrets will open and some snake will go dicking around Hogwards.
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest,just to know how the system works(the game is short,too).
After that go play Final Fantasy VI.It's easier,and have beautiful graphics.
