I had a sub to them when I was younger and whenever I go to the supermarket I do look for their latest magazine so it makes me sad to hear they are shutting down after 20+ years of working their asses off to make these magazines.

I hope that they get new jobs that they all enjoy, possibly with other game magazines?
I didn't even know this existed but it still makes me sad Sad

Really? No, I mean it, really? How on earth did you not know this existed when it's been around for a very long time?

Pretty sure that Nintendo Power is just an american magazine. I wouldn't have heard of it before if I didn't browse video game forums 24/7.

It's sad to see such a long-running thing going down.. We had something like it in Sweden and I got really sad when it ended. I was about 8 back then though..
I'm sorry for you loss America.
Ignore my dumbess, please. I always keep thinking that other people can live in another country other than the states. lol.

I do it all the time.
...Wow. I never saw this coming.
It's a big loss for all of us. Here in Brazil we have Nintendo World, which I believe has content from Nintendo Power. Now that Nintendo Power is going to end, maybe Nintendo World will be affected.

It happened when the American EGM ended and our EGM turned into EGW (they turned the M upside down to make "Entertainment + Game World". Awful name, if you ask me). The quality slowly went down to the bottom, sadly. Now the magazine publishes reviews of games launched months earlier, previews of games nobody cares about and a lot of stories that are variations of the same thing.
I just saw this on Facebook. I'm really sad now. I loved reading the reviews and all the other stuff. It's how I get most of my news on Nintendo games, now I have to use to the internet, which will never be the same as waiting in excitement for a month to see announcements for new games, news on a new console, reviews of games I'm skeptical about...
At least I saved every single subscribers edition of the magazine. I think it will 4 or 5 years of magazines in the end.
I haven't had a subscription since 2008, but it really sucks to see it go.
WAIT WHHAT?
NOOOO
