lol just asking
I wouldn't call it a "good" game, because by definition a game is something you can have fun playing. If you're looking for a more serious, competitive game, than yeah it can fill that role nicely, but it's just so damn boring. Not to mention the most pretentious community in modern games (they're bigger dicks than the COD fanbase... take that in for a second). Also the money grabs are ridiculously expensive and the gameplay itself gets absurdly repetitive.
Well there's my 2 cents, imma go play some Pokemanz and have fun.
Get yourself a Dota 2 beta key (it's really easy nowadays) and have fun.
I can't really answer because I'm wondering this myself. Should I play it or not.... My friend wants me to play with him and he says it's addicting, but I don't know. By the looks of Arjahn's post, my friend was right about the community.
Fun for a while. Then you either get addicted or bored.
I mainly got annoyed at how dickish the more experienced players were to newer gamers

POKEMANZ Big Grin

and dota 2 didnt work anymore suggestions?
I played LoL for 8-9 months and spent plenty of my money on their skins and what not (no regrets) and I got tired of always clicking and what not, I play SMITE now which is a MOBA like LoL but the items you buy are more like DotA where you buy tiers of the same item for better effects and sometimes passive abilites are unlocked at the Tier 3 of that item.
The community for LoL is pretty bad so if you plan on playing you better find a group to help babysit you and help you get the game down, the lingo down, the lanning phases down and also any tips on how to jungle all the champions along with jungling and ward placement.

It's not too complicated once you play a few games.

But if you ARE interested in a game like Smite then I can give you a few beta keys for that. I might have some DotA 2 keys as well.

*EDIT*
So I do have dome DotA 2 games I can give people (not too sure if they are beta keys or not) so PM me if you are interested in either Smite or DotA 2. I stopped playing LoL so while I can't play, I can still offer SOME help with some questions but keep in mind that the game has had plenty of patches since I last played so I am quite positive that item builds and and champion abilities have been nerfed or buffed and possibly new items as well.
Nah man, you want a good MMO, try Runescape. ;D

Hey, back when runescape was just starting it was teh sheet.
The community in there is almost as bad as 2012Rune$capes. and that says a 'shitton'
It's a very very good game, if you have the self confidence of a knight of the round table. Because you will be degraded to hell if you're not ready. The community is so terrible. But if you get past all of the people it's actually really good.

One way to get past the bad community, is to get a pre made team.
Add me, my username is Demigod77.
Yeah I really enjoy it. The community can be dickish though. I dont go on alot so I'm not that big of a level however its fun enough and the games take alot of time so its a good time killer. I think its good considering the price tag (free)
