Mine would have to be the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series. It's very rare, since not a lot of copies were made outside of Japan. But it's an amazing game, it had the best music I ever heard in a video game to be honest. What's yours?
I love the Ace Attorney series (Especially Ace Investigations) but I am more stuck between Ghost Trick and Hotel Dusk: Room 215. Both games had great stories and both had awesome characters with detailed emotions along with memorable music.

I actually never found a copy of Investigations to be honest. Might have to try and find one on the internet
Ace Attorney series, for sure.
Currently, my favorite DS game is Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days. Apart from the story (I understood NOTHing), it's awesome: the music is great, the battles are quick and fun, and it's cool to be able to completely customize your keyblade for your next boss battle.
I agree with Nick, 358/2 is awesome, especially if you understand the story. Aside from that, Dragon Quest 9 was great, Mario Kart DS was fun and a welcome change from the crappy Wii version, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was addicting.
Top pick would probably be Hourglass.
My favorite would be Heart Gold, becuase of the amount of Content in those games.
Pokemon Black, most definitely.

The story is like my favorite part. This is seriously the best KH just cuz of the story (Actually made me cry). The gameplay of each KH is unique and fun except this one gave me the sense of customizability that I hardly found in other KHs.
That being said, 358/2 isn't my fave DS game but it's The World Ends With You because the gameplay keeps me on my toes going through top and bottom screens plus it's fun. Story was epic, possibly one of the best stories I've ever seen. Nuff said.
Probably Ghost Trick, apart from having a low re-playability factor, a somewhat confusing story and it being short, it'd be the best game ever made for the DS.

Mario Kart DS. First game to introduce Wifi and it's way better than MKWii, though hackers might come on and ruining the fun.
Just beat hotel dusk yesterday...I've never been so impressed with a DS game.
It was simple, eye-opening, and heartwarming.
Awesomeness.
...but I also find myself playing Tetris DS way too much, it's a problem xD
