So about a week ago Awesomenauts was released on Steam and I believe consoles as well, has anyone else given this game a look at?
It is basically a 2D MOBA game but the characters are unlocked as your account levels up (you start off with 3 characters at lvl 1) and later on certain abilities are also selected via a loadout and you have 4 rows of like 6 or 7 choices and you can pick up to 3 of them so it really gives you a variety of stuff to choose from.
Oh, sounds like a GREEEEAT game! Now, I know how to unlock the characters without knowing how to actually PLAY the game, or what kind of GENRE it is Big Grin

On a serious thought, I saw the game on PSN. Didn't look upon it though, I played Disgaea 4 instead.
It seems fun, but not fun enough for me to actually buy it. Might end up buying it if I see it for a sale on 50%, but otherwise I won't touch it.
As a matter of fact I haven't seen the game as of now but seriously the game seems to be interesting, yeah, as Nicknclank wrote, at least now the members over here will know how actually to unlock the characters at each level.

I said it was a MOBA game, plus there is Youtube videos you can look at to get an idea about the game.
Froggy G is my favorite atm Tongue but maybe it will be derpl or something when i get high enough
I just got the big robot dude (boy I suck at names) and he seems fun but I normally just do practice matches.
Also I heard Derpl to be pretty OP at least from what I heard from podcasts.
Sorry for the bump, but I just got this game off Steam (it's right around $3 at the moment) and It's a ton of fun, way more engaging than any other MOBA-type games I've played lately (Name League of Legends, DOTA and Smite) and it's got a lot of life to it, you should pick this up right now, the footlong can wait.
I downloaded it about a month ago on XBLA for an awesome price (was on Deal of the Week). I played a few matches but couldn't get into it because I didn't have a team and there isn't really a tutorial on it.
UGH Y U REVIVE 4 MONTH OLD THREAD!?!?!?

I have not played in a long time though.
